Seed Grants

The Religion and Public Health Collaborative (RPHC) is committed to increasing the knowledge base at the intersections of religion and public health and does this by funding interdisciplinary research. We are pleased to announce the following seed grant projects for 2009-10:

• Religious Guidance and Care Regarding Genomic Testing
  
• Contemplative Practices for Persons with Early-Stage Dementia and their Family Care-Givers
• Emory Meditation Practice Tradition & Experience Scale (EMPTE)

The following projects were granted for 2008-09:

• Religious Health Assets for Safe Water Projects in Haiti
• Religion and the Utilization of Hospice among African Americans
• Spirituality, Social Capital, and Maternal-Infant Outcomes in Latinas
